Prior to Clarke: Attended Carroll University as part of their baseball team for one year...played basketball and baseball at Pecatonica High School...a four-year letterwinner on the baseball team as a First Team All Conference Pitcher his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons and Player of the Year as a senior...three-year letterwinner on the basketball team as a Second Team All Conference selection as a junior and senior.
