Pride men's golf wraps up final fall regular season event at Viterbo Invite
LACROSSE, Wis. - With the fall season winding down for the Clarke University men's golf team, they wrapped up play in Lacrosse, Wis. at the Viterbo Invite on Tuesday.
The Pride were once again led by another top-10 finish for junior Carter Ruegsegger as he carded a first-round 79 followed by a 75 in the second round to total at 154 (+10) and a tie for 10th with one other player as Clarke's highest finisher.
The remainder of CU's five-man team lineup finished as follows, Logan Winn shot an 80-82=162, Jared Martinson went 90-82=172, Jesse Frye finished at 83-91=174, and Francis Resurreccion carded a 93-90=183 to round out the top-five.
Both Greg Witte and Alijah Dopson competed for Clarke as individuals as Witte scored 87-82=169 and Dopson finished at 93-92=185.
Pride golf now has one more event remaining as the men and women will now prepare for the Heart of America Athletic Conference's fall event at The Preserve in Moravia, Iowa on Oct. 24-25.
