Jordan and Redding earn All-Heart Honors to highlight Heart Championship weekend

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Starting their postseason journey at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships, the Clarke University men's bowling team was unable to find head-to-head success on Saturday on their way to a seventh place finish in the tournament.

The Pride came into the tournament as the No. 2 seed in the conference where they would face off against Peru State in the opening round as the Bobcats would pull out the win sending CU into the loser's side of the double elimination bracket where the No. 3 seed Baker would be their next matchup for the Wildcats to pull out the win and eliminate Clarke.

At the Championships, Clarke would get official word of their two Heart All-Conference selections as senior Shane Jordan would be voted a First Team All-Heart selection, finishing second in the Player of the Year qualification while Harley Redding was a Second Team All-Heart selection, finishing one spot shy of a spot on the All-Heart First Team in his sophomore campaign.

The Heart Championships was not the end of the line for the Pride men's bowling team as they earned qualification to the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Sectionals that will take place for CU in Addison, Ill. on Mar. 8-9 at Stardust Bowl.
