Heart of America Athletic Conference Announces Heart Scholar-Athletes for the 2020-21 Academic Year
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In what came out to be arguably one of the most difficult years of learning the country has ever face, 83 of Clarke University's student-athletes earned Heart of America Conference Scholar-Athlete honors.
To qualify to be a Scholar-Athlete, students, must have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher (on a 4.0 scale), must have accumulated a minimum of 60 credit hours, completed at least 5 semesters, and attending the nominating institution for at least two semesters prior to being nominated, must have documented participation in a varsity competition in the sport for which they are being nominated for.
Of the Pride programs that had the most qualifying student-athletes, the women's soccer team and football teams both had 11 qualifiers with softball and women's volleyball having 10 individuals each.
